Hi there, I am a Kentucky native who developed an early interest in personal finance. At the age of 24, I began investing in my company’s IRA Retirement sponsored plan, which sparked my passion for all things related to personal finance and I am so glad I did.

In my 40s, I found myself drowning in debt. I had been flipping homes in my area when the 2008 market crash hit, leaving me with multiple properties that had decreased in value and were not selling. To make matters worse, the money I used to purchase these homes were tied to my family farm in Kentucky, which had been in our family for over 45 years. I was stressing!

Faced with a potential loss of our family’s legacy, I knew I had to take action. I pulled myself up by the bootstraps and moved to Florida to sell real estate, eventually paying back $200,000 in debt within just five years.

Now, I am proud to say that I have reached millionaire status, with a focus on achieving my second million. My story is one of resilience and determination, and I hope it serves as inspiration for others facing financial hardships. Just a little note: I am in my 60’s now. 😀
